Students interested in attending for the 2026-2027 school year are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The deadline for all grade 8 applications is January 15th for the 2025-2026 admission cycle. Starting with the 2025-2026 admissions cycle all students who apply will be entered into a weighted lottery.
Please note that the newly state mandated lottery admissions process does not reflect the high expectations of Cape Cod Regional Technical High School for attendance, discipline, academic performance, and promotion/graduation as specified below.

Cape Cod Regional Technical High School has published an admission policy that is available to all applicants and parents/guardians as part of the admission process. It is also available on our website at www.capetech.us. The policy explains the weighted lottery criteria and process.
Cape Cod Tech Application for Student Admission
In addition to receiving this application Cape Cod Tech will work with the applicant's current school guidance counselor to review attendance records and discipline records. An interview will be arranged. Cape Cod Tech will take care of these additional steps and will contact you if there is any additional information needed from you. By submitting this application, the applicant understands that they will be held to Cape Cod Regional Technical High School’s high expectations for: 
    - Attendance: A student is permitted to accumulate without consequence four (4) unexcused absences for the year for the Gray cycle and four (4) unexcused absences for the year for the Maroon Cycle. Students who go over the four per year per Gray cycle or Maroon cycle limit are required to make up time after school or during Saturday School (which meets on one or more Saturdays per month).
- Discipline: The primary purpose of Cape Cod Tech is to educate its students. Poor conduct on a student’s part not only affects the education of that student but in most cases adversely affects the educational process for other students. This will not be tolerated. Students will cooperate with school officials in all investigative matters concerning the safety and well-being of school students and staff. Cape Cod Regional Technical High School will decide upon the disciplinary action that is appropriate under the circumstances, should a determination be made that inappropriate behaviors have been committed. The consequences for such behaviors will depend upon the frequency and severity of the inappropriate behaviors.
- Academic performance: Any student with more than two academic course failures will not be promoted. Students failing two or more academic courses (including shop theory) must complete approved makeup and reduce the course deficiencies to less than one academic failure to be promoted. Any student failing shop (4 or 6 credits) for the year will not be promoted. Should a student fail a total of two or more academic courses (including shop theory), students and parents must contact Cape Cod Tech or their local high school for summer school options.
- Graduation: In order to graduate, students must earn the required credits by passing school courses, or approved makeup in all courses, along with Senior Project.
Six Credits in Math (4 years, including Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry) 
Five Credits in Science, Technology, and Engineering (4 years, including three credits in life science and physical science courses) 
Three Credits in Social Studies ((3 years- including one US History course) 
Minimum of seventeen credits in Shop if enrolled at CCT for four years, fourteen credits in shop if enrolled at CCT for three years,ten credits in Shop if enrolled at CCT for two years (Every year enrolled)
Three credits in Technical Theory if enrolled for three and four years, two credits if enrolled for 2 year or less years. 
Two Credits in Physical Education (This may be less due to shop pullout.) 
Four Credits in Electives (Physical Education on the academic schedule may be considered an elective)
